CHAUTEAU DU CROS
For four generations, the estate has been the
Boyer family’s home and base. It includes an
18thcentury manor house, the Old Château du
Crosperched on a rocky outcrop that dates back to the 12th century and whose construction
was allowed by Richard the Lionheart, son of
Eleonor of Aquitaine, and the vines up on the
limestoneplateau, the highest vantage point
over the river.

back tothe 12th century and whose construction was allowed by Richard the Lionheart, son of
Eleonor of Aquitaine, and the vines up on the limestoneplateau, the highest vantage point

The Château du Cros estate is 40 km (25 miles)
south of Bordeaux. It produces wines bearing
the Loupiac and Bordeaux red, white and rosé
labels.
One unique parcel has Semillon vines growing
on it that are more than 110 years old. Their fruit produces a very concentrated wine that is a true aromatic nectar!
